The FIA Formula One World Championship has been one of the premier forms of racing around the world since its inaugural season in 1950. The word\u00a0&#8220;formula&#8221;\u00a0in the name refers to\u00a0the set of rules\u00a0to which all participants&#8217; cars must conform.\u00a0A Formula One season consists of a series of races, known as\u00a0Grands Prix\u00a0(French\u00a0for &#8216;grand prizes&#8217; or &#8216;great prizes&#8217;), which take place worldwide on purpose-built\u00a0circuits\u00a0and on public roads.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Baku City Circuit is a\u00a0motor racing\u00a0street circuit\u00a0located in\u00a0Baku,\u00a0Azerbaijan\u00a0constructed near\u00a0Baku Boulevard.
